On September 16, 2025, Faller Packaging officially inaugurated its new factory in Horsens, Denmark — a major milestone in its Nordic expansion strategy.
The 5,700 m² facility, built on the former Makita warehouse site, has been transformed into a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical packaging operation. With the potential to produce 600 million folding cartons annually, the new plant effectively doubles Faller’s local production capacity, significantly enhancing service levels for customers across the Nordic region.
Purpose-Built for Precision and Scalability
The factory is designed to meet strict GMP and pharmaceutical production requirements. The installation includes:
Koenig & Bauer Rapida 106 press with eight color units
Bobst ExpertCut die-cutting system
Multiple gluing lines
CTP from Cron and Glunz & Jensen
Clearly defined production zones for each workflow stage
These investments were made with long-term planning in mind. Over the next five years, the site is expected to scale up to include:
2 printing presses
2 die cutters
5 gluing machines
3-shift operations with 50 employees
